Two 13-year-old boys arrested in Winnetka Heights fire investigation

Again, the latest was reported by Kessler Park resident and Channel 11 reporter Jason Whitely, who has stayed on top of this story.  Whitely reports that Dallas Fire-Arson investigators arrested the boys at Greiner Middle School, and led them out in handcuffs. Both confessed to the crimes, and are charged with three felonies between them.

Whitely’s story quotes Dallas Fire-Rescue’ Capt. M.D. Stephenson as saying, "I don’t think I’ve ever dealt with any this young.

"One of them made the comment they wanted to make a name for themselves. They started setting these fires. They progressively got larger and larger."
