The Belmont Hotel‘s Poolside Movie Night series continues Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. with a screening of Vertigo. That’s Alfred Hitchcock’s 1958 psychological thriller, where you’re supposed to believe that Jimmy Stewart doesn’t recognize Kim Novak as a brunette with glasses, Clark Kent style. The only flick in the series that is not a comedy, it is Belmont’s celebration of Jimmy Stewart’s birthday. He would be 101.
If you go, bring a blanket, since lawn chairs aren’t allowed. Valet parking is free. Snacks and drinks are prohibited, but you can order them from Bar Belmont. The movie is free.
