Cliff Fest set for November

Mark your calendars for Nov. 14. That’s the day organizers have chosen for Cliff Fest, a Bishop Arts District street festival and showcase of all things Oak Cliff. Details are still being worked out, but organizers expect food vendors from all over Oak Cliff, live music and booths showcasing local merchants, businesses and artists. "The only rule is that they have to have an Oak Cliff base," organizer Amy Cowan says. "But we want to show off people and businesses from all over Oak Cliff."

The festival needs volunteers, performers, vendors and sponsors. To get involved, contact Cowan.

It would be great if someone in charge could contact some of the preformers with a Oak Cliff backgrounds. The first ones to come to mind are Jimmy Vaughn and Michael Murphy.I am sure there are several others that I am not aware of?
