Wynnewood Heights is just one of eight neighborhoods in Dallas in which 800 volunteers will be present all morning and afternoon tomorrow during the Dallas Leadership Foundation‘s City of Hope Day. Volunteers from The Real Estate Council will renovate low-income homes in this Oak Cliff neighborhood with painting, landscaping and general clean-up.

The total impact across the city is expected to be $300,000 worth of volunteer work for 60 to 65 substandard homes — all free of charge for the homeowners. The overall goal of the Dallas Leadership Foundation is to work collaboratively with faith-based and community-based organizations to improve the standard of living for the poor in Dallas.
