A public meeting Tuesday about the Oak Cliff Gateway plan was another craft night at the Hitt Auditorium. Neighbors glued little pictures to a map to indicate what zoning they want for the plan. The city repeated the exercise because the Gateway map has changed.
Most neighbors emphasized keeping green space and biking and walking paths. Many favored high-density residential — including high- and mid-rises — over retail or mixed-use properties.
