DART to the State Fair

Those of us who appreciate mass transit have something new to get excited about. DART has released its train schedules for Green Line service, which begins Sept. 14 — just in time for the State Fair. Which means no more parking hassles, no more traffic tie-ups, and no more getting turned around on akk the one-way streets.

Take the Blue or Red Line and get off at Pearl, and then walk up the block to the Green Line stop. Get on a southbound train, and you’re at the Fair Park station on Robert Cullum at the front gate in less than 10 minutes. And all for $1.75 each way.
