Apparently, we need strip clubs more than we realize

I  swear I don’t make this stuff up. Honest. The following is a quote from Dawn Rizos, the owner of The Lodge, one of the best-known gentlemen’s clubs in Dallas. (And no, I’m not going to link to The Lodge. This is a family blog.)

“We’re a great draw for the city of Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau, and we don’t have anything to be ashamed of,” she said in a story that ran in Dallas’ Only Daily Newspaper yesterday. (And I’m very impressed that Gromer Jeffers Jr., who wrote the article, managed to sneak that past the copy desk.)

What are they doing down there at the convention and visitors bureau?
