Want to make sure you’re recycling properly, particularly with the city’s recycling effort expected to expand this year? Councilman Angela Hunt’s website has a comprehensive list of "do’s" and "don’t" for Dallas recycling, including — for example — which Styrofoam materials can be recycled (rinsed food containers, yes; packing peanuts and other materials, no) and other such recycling trivia. There are also helpful tips about what to do with spent Christmas trees, batteries and just about any other materials you might have lying around the home or office.
