Oak Cliff Chamber’s ‘Texas Top Star’ talent contest starts Saturday

Got pipes? Show ’em what you’re working with, and belt out a song for the Texas Top Star competition at 1 p.m. Saturday. The second-annual contest from the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce offers a grand prize that includes five hours of studio time, 50 CDs, a photo shoot, image consulting, and mentoring and tutoring.

It’s $25 to enter the competition and $10 to watch the auditions at Mt. View College.
