On December 5, 1933, Prohibition ended in the United States. To celebrate that event (well, not really), Bolsa is having a party at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 celebrating the end of Prohibition in Oak Cliff. It will be complete with Prohibition-era cocktails and live music. Who knows, maybe Elliot Ness will show up and turn in his barrel-crushing ax? Or maybe he’ll burn his Uni-Card?
