The Dallas Voice reports that Barbara’s Pavillion owner Dan Friessen was hit by a car on Centre at about 6 p.m. Dec. 9. He was walking from the bar to his car.
Friessen had multiple injuries and was in the hospital until Dec. 12. His jaw is wired shut, and he is on a liquid diet. Since Friessen has no health insurance, friends have set up a fund to help him with hospital bills.
