New furniture store, design studio, to hold grand opening Feb. 13

Shannon Halbert and Ashley Mileger

The shop, on Tyler between Seventh and Eighth, is called 4 Love. And it’s the venture of business partners Shannon Halbert and Ashley Mileger, an interior designer.

The shop will focus on remaking old furniture with new finishes, paint and upholstery, and they will offer interior design services to fit a range of budgets, Halbert says.

They plan to offer seminars on how to decorate on a budget and other topics.

Halbert and Mileger both live in Uptown.

“We chose this neighborhood because of the vibe and how close the community is,” Halbert says.

Their grand opening party is Sunday, Feb. 13  from 7-10 p.m., with champagne, hors d’oeuvres and “fabulous giveaways”. RSVP to info@4lovestore.com.

The 4 Love shop will be open for business starting on Valentine’s Day, Monday, Feb. 14.

Tried to email Shannon & Ashley at the “info@” address and the individual addresses listed on their website, but all three emails bounced back.
