Productivity killer: 12 dystopian novels to ease our worries

With all the upheaval going on in the Middle East and here at the homeland, The Huffington Post offers a list of 12 dystopian novels to help us realize that, hey, it could be worse.

The government could start incubating humans in eggs, giving us a predetermined level of intelligence. Or, we could at any moment be arrested for thought crimes and newspeak. Or, we could end up in a full-on, post- apocalyptic nightmare in which we must travel miles and miles just to find food.

So, crack open a copy of “Brave New World”, “1984”, “Fahrenheit 451” or “The Road” . There’s also a few more obscure titles on the list to check out. It might cheer you up. Perhaps?
