Oak Cliff Cinco de Mayo to mark 15th anniversary

“La Quinceañera” is the theme for this year’s Oak Cliff Cinco De Mayo celebration.

The Oak Cliff Coalition for the Arts started the celebration in 1997. Their baby is all grown up.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7. It begins at Jefferson and Cumberland, and it ends at Brooklyn and Polk. A festival will follow at Casa Guanajuato from noon-8 p.m., and a “quince” diner and dance is from 8 p.m.-midnight.
