Tony Moore will no longer serve as president and CEO of Trinity Park Conservancy.
According to a press release, Moore announced Tuesday, May 26 that he will transition his role to current Chief Operating Officer Brian Kilpatrick.
Moore has been with the nonprofit since 2021 and has led the organization’s efforts in progressing the plans for Harold Simmons Park, a 250-acre project surrounding the Trinity River.
“Over the last five years, Tony has brilliantly led TPC and brought us through groundbreaking and on the path to opening the first stage of Harold Simmons Park in late 2028,” said Deedie Rose, chair of the TPC Board of Directors. “We simply would not be where we are today without his inspirational leadership, his commitment to the project, and his commitment to both the West Dallas community and to the whole city. We owe him an enormous debt of gratitude.”
Kilpatrick will serve as interim CEO effective immediately and Moore will remain with the organization to assist with the transition.
“It has been an incredible honor to lead Trinity Park Conservancy during such an important chapter of Harold Simmons Park’s development. I am immensely proud of what this team has accomplished and the momentum we have built around this transformational project,” Moore said in the press release. “Brian Kilpatrick is an experienced leader and one of the best in the industry. ”
