Summer classes for kids and teens at Make

Make Shop & Studio is offering fashion and sewing classes for elementary school through high school-age kids this summer.

Each session is one week, and students make five projects. Instructors work with students based on their skills, so no previous sewing experience is necessary.

Classes could include fashion history, pattern making, screen printing, basic sewing, quilting, hand embroidery and handbag design, among other topics.

They cost $340, and there is a $40 discount for siblings enrolling in the camps.
