The Dallas Public Library is kicking off the Mayor’s Summer Reading Program with a concert series at branch libraries around the city. Brave Combo performs a free concert at the Hampton-Illinios Branch Library Saturday, June 11 at 1 p.m.

The summer reading program is for children age 18 and younger. They are encouraged to read five hours a day, or three hours a day for kids 10 and younger. They visit their branch library weekly for prizes and events. Even kids too young to read can participate by attending story time. Register at
