Three important community meetings in the neighborhood this week.

First up is a meeting with Parks at Wynnewood apartments owner Bank of America. The company has agreed to build market-rate apartments in addition to 140 low-income units. And they want neighborhood input. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Parks at Wynnewood community room, 1910 Argentina.

On Thursday is a meeting regarding Dallas Fire Department stations 15 and 26 in Oak Cliff. They are two of the three stations the city is considering downgrading. The proposal is to remove hook and ladder trucks from those stations, which would make the nearest one downtown. Council member Delia Jasso and assistant city manager Al Gonzalez will discuss the proposal at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Martin Weiss Recreation Cetner, 1111 Martindell.

The last public meeting on City Council redistricting is from 3-6 p.m. Saturday in the City Council chambers.
