Dallas City Council recently authorized an engineering design services contract for multiple transportation projects, including two in Oak Cliff.
Kimley-Horn is expected to provide services for the Tyler Street/Sylvan Avenue Corridor Study from I-30 to 12th Street and the “peanut” roundabout at the Colorado-Sylvan-Tyler intersection.
Other projects included in the agenda item are located in East Dallas and North Dallas.
The contract is limited at $1.5 million and will be paid for through bond funds. The design is expected to be completed in December 2027.
