This weekend: Tail-gating, hats, crafts, block party, brew

The North Oak Cliff Adamson High School football tail-gating group is meeting up again this Friday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. The game is at Kinkaide Field. Neighbor Michael Dilger will fire up the grill. Just bring stuff to cook and drinks.

House of MacGregor hosts a re-steam and cocktail party from 7-9 p.m. Friday. If your House of MacGregor hat needs a little love, bring it by, and they will freshen it up for you. If you don’t have a House of MacGregor hat yet, go check out their expanded showroom. It’s above Bolsa, at 614 W. Davis.

The Kessler Creative Culture Fair is a DIY market from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, in the Kessler Creative Culture Annex, behind Cliff Notes, at Clinton and Davis. There will be storybook telling, art projects for kids, poetry, art, craft demonstrations and live music.

The Tyler/Davis district is throwing another block party. It’s from 6-10 p.m. Saturday and will feature a tamale truck, music, art, complimentary drinks and shopping. Kyle Hobratschk will unveil his new printmaking studio.

Brew at the Zoo is Saturday, Sept. 10. Pay $30 and hang out at the Dallas Zoo, tasting beer. Rebirth Brass Band and the Spazmatics perform.
