Beckley Club movie night to feature film of old Dallas

The Beckley Club Estates neighborhood association invites Oak Cliff neighbors to its movie night fundraiser at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 2.

A $4 suggested donation is the admission price to watch Dallas promotional films from the ’50s and ’60s, including “Vandalism: The Mark of Immaturity” and “Rock and Roll with the Safety Patrol,” a film about street-crossing safety from about 1969.

The films start rolling at 8 p.m. in the backyard of 1406 Ramsey. Popcorn, hotdogs and beverages will be available. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.
