Read Between the Lines launches at Neighborhood

its-not-meJust in time for Valentine’s Day, a creative upstart from Oak Cliff resident Tammy Shugart and business partner Melinda Jones. Read Between the Lines is a stationery line the women have created through their company, Super Much Love.

Read Between the Lines launches at Neighborhood, the home-design store across the alley from Eno’s in the Bishop Arts District, starting with a party from 7-9:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7.

The line features cards with phrases repeated and widely spaced across the face. The idea is to write a personal note literally between the lines, such as “Let Me Woo You” and “I Love Your Hair Will You Marry Me.”

The cards sell for about $7 apiece, and there are ones for every occasion, such as “Give Me My Stuff Back,” “Really We Can Still Be Friends” and “What?! Seriously.”
