Day of the dead and four other things to do in Oak Cliff this weekend

North Oak Cliff Library announces the winners of its dia de los muertos art contest as well as a tamale-making contest.

CocoAndre celebrates dia de los muertos from noon-7 p.m. Saturday with complimentary hot chocolate and pan de muerto.

Rosemont Elementary School hosts a bike-in movie at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at its upper campus on Montclair. The movie is free, and barbecue will be for sale.

Society, the candle shop in Bishop Arts, celebrates its one-year anniversary, from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2.

The North Oak Cliff Music Festival is from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at Lake Cliff Park. The lineup includes the Relatives, Band of Heathens, Ruthie Foster and Bob Schneider.

The AIA Dallas Tour of Homes is Saturday and Sunday. A brand-new modern home in Kessler Woods is on the tour.
