The final Turner House salon of the season is Thursday, Dec. 12, and it’s all about the Dallas Opera.

Opera CEO Keith Cerny will present “Notes on Opera: By Love Transformed” starting at 7 p.m. He will discuss “the current season at the Dallas Opera and how this centuries old form of music can be a mirror of contemporary life.”

Dallas Opera vocalists will perform, and an accompanist will play the 1924 Steinway grand piano owned by the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts.

Tickets cost $15 for members and students and $20 otherwise.
