A free children’s concert featuring Circus Chickendog and Floramay Holliday starts at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Kessler Theater. Rep. Rafael Anchia, a Democrat who represents Oak Cliff in the Texas Legislature, hosts the annual concert.

The Kessler also has comedian Paul Varghese Saturday night.

The Texas Theatre screens “East Nashville Tonite.” Here’s a description: “A hilarious look at Songwriter pals Todd Snider and Elizabeth Cook as they work on a pilot for TV, brainstorm new ideas on fragrances and many other adventures.”

The Texas also is showing “Pretty in Pink,” with an 80s party after the Friday night screening.

The Bike Friendly Oak Cliff Tweed Ride starts at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Dealey Plaza.
