The last of Blockbuster’s stores close Friday, Dec. 6, including the one in the Jeff Davis Shopping Center.
That shopping center still has a Save A Lot grocery, a dentist, a dollar store and a couple of fast-food restaurants. But a Chinese buffet and a pharmacy have closed in the last year, leaving vacancies in the once fully leased shopping center.
The Oak Cliff Blockbuster, which is selling all of its merchandise and store fixtures at discounts, is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday.
