A developer planning 250 apartments on the former Dallas West Mobile Home and RV Park says 30 old-growth trees on the 8-acre tract will be spared.

The builder, Wood Partners, is taking out the remaining 89 trees from the property.

The group is planning apartments, retail spaces, a community garden, dog park and pool.
