This weekend: spring celebration, Gin Blossoms, movies, music

spring_equinox2014sqThe spring equinox festival at Labyrinth Walk Coffee House starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, with a candle-lit labyrinth meditation walk, Earth loom decorating and psychic fair. The music starts at 7:15 p.m., and the Rev. Karen Floyd performs a spring ritual at 9 p.m. Admission costs $10. Bring your own lawn chairs and coolers (beer and wine are OK).

The Gin Blossoms play two shows at the Kessler Friday.

The Texas Theatre has the documentary “Kiss the Water,” the mystery thriller “Enemy” and “Stay,” a drama starring Taylor Schilling of “Orange is the New Black.” Plus, music: Def Rain and Party Static perform Friday.

Somebody’s Darling performs at The Foundry 9 p.m. Friday, and Convoy and the Cattlemen perform Saturday.
