Parking a little scarcer than usual in Bishop Arts

If you tried to park in Bishop Arts this past weekend, chances are, finding a spot was tougher than usual.

That’s because the biggest parking lot is out of commission. Jim Lake Cos. is repaving and restriping its parking lot at Seventh and Madison.

Work on the parking lot is expected to be completed by Friday. Lake also is repaving the alley that bisects Bishop between Seventh and Eighth, with plans to create more activity in the alleyway.

I was pleasantly surprised that a free lot exists in such a place as Bishop Arts. Instantly makes Bishop far better than Deep Ellum for me.
