Public art on Fort Worth Avenue, ‘Steam Punk Bird’

Artists Scott Shubin and Juli Hulcy-Kessinger won the Fort Worth Avenue Development Group’s Spare Parts public art grant for their “Steam Punk Bird.”

The artists installed their sculpture near Metro Paws Animal Hospital Thursday.

The group will stage a champagne christening for the sculpture as part of its Spare Parts fundraiser Oct. 25.
