Your new favorite neighborhood hangout just became a little more interesting.
Small Brewpub, the beer-lover’s haven at Jefferson Tower with its “delightfully defiant” menu from chef Misti Norris, is expanding its live-music programming.
The pub already offers live jazz on Tuesday nights. And now they’ve finished a rear patio with a stage, and they’re breaking it in with style.
Three bands perform Sunday, March 15, starting at 6 p.m.: Ruby the Rabbitfoot, Birds of Night and Water Liars. The cover charge is $5 and will go directly to the bands. Norris, already making food critics lose their minds over her boudain balls, is preparing gumbo as a special that day.
Small Brewpub also is planning a block party on Saturday, April 18 with Langhorne Slim & the Law, Quiet Company and the Fox & the Bird.
