This weekend: Margarita Meltdown, ‘Alien,’ ride to the DSO


The Foundry has Madison King Thursday, the Mike Hoskins Experience Friday and the Effinays Saturday.

The Kessler has Alejandro Escovedo Thursday, followed by a two-night stand with Keb’ Mo’.

The Texas Theatre has “Alien,” plus a documentary about artist H.R. Giger.

The Wild Detectives hosts an old-school hip-hop show starting at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The fifth-annual Dallas Margarita Meltdown is from 4-9 p.m. Sunday, May 24 in the Bishop Arts District.

Bike Friendly Oak Cliff leads a ride to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra performance at Flagpole Hill Monday. The ride leaves from Oddfellows in the Bishop Arts District at 6 p.m.
