Three attackers punched and robbed a 73-year-old paletero last week near the Bishop Arts District.

The Dallas Police Department arrested Antonio Brazil, 28, Brandon Brazil, 23, and Tykeeya Murrell, 21. They are accused of searching the ice-cream man’s pockets and coming away with $80. The attack happened Tuesday, Nov. 24, in the 200 block of South Van Buren, where the victim was pushing his paleta cart.

A witness followed the getaway car, called 911 and reported the license plate number. Police arrested the suspects at a motel in Lancaster.
