The Local Hub bicycle shop in Deep Ellum is coming soon from Oak Cliff neighbors Kristie Holt and Justin Shannon.
This past weekend they hosted the first Dallas “cranksgiving,” an event that is part bicycle race, part scavenger hunt and all food drive.
Racers were given a manifest instructing them to purchase food at certain Dallas grocery stores. The result was a car trunk and backseat loaded with food donated to The Stewpot.
