Adamson band wins $100,000

It’s a new day for the Adamson High School marching band.

Thank America’s Teachers, a program from Farmers Insurance, awarded the band $100,000. Adamson was one of many schools up for the money, and the prize was awarded based on online votes.

The award was revealed in a school assembly Monday.

The band will use almost all of the money to replace its aging instruments.
