The Dallas Police Department is searching for the gunman who shot a woman to death at Patio Bar in Oak Cliff this past weekend.

Fighting inside the bar led to fighting in the parking lot, when one man retrieved a gun from his late-’90s green four-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.

He fired on a crowd of people and killed Ashley Wilson, 29, who reportedly had not been involved in the fighting.

Police describe the shooter as a Latino male, 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-8, 150 pounds and with a shaved head or very close cropped hair. He may have had bruising on his face following the fight.

The Patio Bar, near Sunset and Llewellyn, is a BYOB nightclub with a history of violence and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission violations.

Anyone who was at Patio Bar, which also is known as La Costena restaurant, when the shooting happened, or anyone with information on the suspect should contact the police’s homicide unit, 214.671.3661.
