Dash for the Beads donates $24,000 to neighborhood schools

The seventh-annual Good Space Dash for the Beads 5k in February raised $24,000 for neighborhood schools and nonprofits.

Rosemont Elementary School was the top beneficiary, receiving $11,000.

The others include.

The Kessler School, $3,000,
Raul Quintanilla Middle School, $600,
James S Hogg Elementary School, $1,000,
The Promise House, $750,
Hector P. Garcia Middle School, $1,000,
Kidd Springs Sailfish Swim Team, $1,500,
Life School, $1,500,
Anson Jones Elementary School, $400,
John H Reagan Elementary School, $1,000,
Cliff House KidzClub, $1,000 and
Dallas Youth Athletic Association $750.

The next Dash for the Beads 5k is Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017.
