The Visual Speedbump Tour offers a free peek into 16 art studios in Oak Cliff. It’s from noon-6 p.m. Saturday, May 21. Start at Mighty Fine Arts gallery or any of the studios, listed here, and receive a printed map of all the studios on the tour.

Join the Wild Detectives at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for kids storytelling with the authors Garth Williams American Illustrator: A Life.

The Kessler has Carolyn Wonderland on Friday and Brave Combo Saturday.

The Texas Theatre has Mullholland Drive on Friday and Dazed and Confused on Saturday.

Support the Bishop Arts Theatre Center and at-risk teens by buying tickets to “The Clink,” a comedy by Steven Young, based on Shakespearean text. The theater worked for several months with kids via the Dallas County Juvenile Department to put on this production, May 20-21. Tickets cost $10.
