Oncor again is offering trees to its customers as a way to lower energy consumption.

Sign up for as many as two free trees from Oncor, and they will be delivered in the fall. Customers must plant the trees, which will be 1 or 2 feet tall, themselves.

There are about 6,000 trees available, and you can order them here.

Choose from bur oak, Texas redbud, pecan, Mexican white oak and cedar elm. You can also try using this interactive tool that suggests which trees to plant and where.
