A stork arrived in Beckley Club Estates Thursday.

Neighbor Emily Cortez snapped a shot of the bird and posted it to her neighborhood’s Facebook group.

Someone identified it as a European White Stork and called the Dallas Zoo, and they sent a staff member out to capture the wading bird, which is safely back in its habitat.

It was all another day in beautiful Beckley Club, which famously is home to a population of peafowl.
