Tinderbox Circus Sideshow brings its daredevil feats and oddities to the Kessler Friday. And then Del Castillo performs a reunion show Saturday.

The Hampton Illinois Library celebrates its 10-year anniversary Saturday.

The Oak Cliff Cultural Center offers dance workshops Saturday as part of a current exhibition, “Tessellated Fold.” Brown Girls Do Ballet Dance Workshop offers contemporary ballet, for all ages and levels, from 4-5 p.m. And then hip-hop/Afro, for intermediate and advanced dancers, from 5-6 p.m.

The Texas Theatre offers a documentary about punk label Fat Wreck Chords. After the show is a Q&A with filmmaker Shaun Colon, moderated by Taffeta Darling of The Fangirls of Dallas and then a behind the screen punk show. The Texas also kicks off a three-week series of showing classic three-hour movies in the air conditioning at 3 p.m. Sunday. This week it’s “The Great Escape.”

The Wild Detectives offers “Beyond your backyard story night,” starting at 7 p.m. Sunday. Volunteers from the Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, City Square and City Year will share their stories about things that did not go as planned.
