The architecture firm Official won the American Institute of Architects’ Dallas Design Award for Houndstooth coffee shop at Sylvan Thirty.

The firm designed the 2,000-square-foot space to serve as a coffee shop during the day and a bar, Jettison, at night.

The project was chosen for the award, AIA’s highest recognition, because of its “playful interiors, creative use of light and duality of spaces.”
