Get the basics right for your neighborhood

The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League hosts a workshop on how to bring your neighborhood association together.

The workshop, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, can help get your neighborhood organization off of the ground, improve a faltering effort, or strengthen an existing group.

Topics include how to organize neighbors, how to run a successful meeting, addressing code issues and the legal issues of neighborhood associations.

The event, in the Bishop Dunne Catholic School library, is free for conservation league members and $10 otherwise. Register here.
