Avoid the Marsalis/Colorado area Saturday morning.
The Mayor’s Race 5k will take a course starting from the Omni Hotel and across the Houston Street Viaduct. The run then makes a u-turn at Marsalis and Colorado and travels back across the Jefferson bridge.
The race starts at 9 a.m., and there will be road closures before and after the start time.
