Take time to clean the Trinity Friday morning

More than 100 volunteers have signed up to pick up trash, pull weeds and plant grass in the Trinity River corridor Friday morning.

It’s the Trinity River Conservation Corps’ corporate day of service.

…organizations and individuals will remove invasive species, plant native grasses, help pick up trash and participate in a ‘bio-blitz,’ which will capture inventory of the biodiversity in the area using an app.

The event is from 8:30 a.m.-noon Friday at the Santa Fe Trestle Trail Park.

Register here, and even if you can’t make it, why not pick up trash and recycling in your own neighborhood, before it blows into the waterways?

Why is this happening on a work day?

Does this mean you all are going to start posting articles about East Oak Cliff?
