Bela Lugosi, Kids in the Cliff, free live music and more things to do in Oak Cliff

Kids in the Cliff story time starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wild Detectives. Jill Holston will read “The Hello, Goodbye Window,” the Caldecott-winning book written by Norton Juster and with art by Chris Raschka.

The Texas Theatre offers “Ed Wood” Saturday as a tribute to Martin Landau; this is the film for which Landau won his only Oscar. They’re also showing “The Princess Bride” Saturday.

Memphis/Motown/Muscle Shoals cover band The Coppertones perform a free show at The Foundry Friday at 9 p.m. Mayta plays there Saturday.

The Kessler Theater has South San Gabriel with Pleasant Grove on Friday. Hotter than Hell Burlesque is Saturday.
