‘The Frightened Frog’ takes up residence at southern Dallas libraries

Children in Oak Cliff and southern Dallas will have access to books about life cycles of seeds and the environmental effects of pollution on amphibians thanks to a donation from the Oak Cliff Garden Forum.

The group, which is a federation of six garden clubs, donated copies of “The Frightened Frog” and “The Saved Seed” to eight libraries in Oak Cliff and South Dallas. The books were written for the National Garden Clubs Inc.

The Oak Cliff Garden Forum is challenging other Dallas garden clubs to provide these books to the city’s other 21 libraries.
