A pint-sized cocktail bar opened today on North Tyler.
Tiny Victories is a 1,000-square-foot bar with 40 seats and a small patio in the “TyPo” building, just behind Set & Co., between West Davis and Fouraker.
Owners This & That Co. also have High Fives, The Whippersnapper and Ferris Wheelers.
Unlike most bars in “damp” Oak Cliff, Tiny Victories won’t be required to serve food. Most places serving alcohol in Oak Cliff are required to earn 51 percent of their revenues from food sales. City Council last year approved allowing an exception for Tiny Victories.
“Oak Cliff is a strong community, and we know that trust and respect will be earned, not given,” This & That co-founder Brandon Hays stated in a media release. “Our plan is to extend a hand to our neighbors, all while having a good time. A hospitality-first mentality is our focus and we can’t wait to meet everyone.”
The bar opens at 4 p.m. daily.
