Police: Man confesses in West Davis shooting death

A 32-year-old man was shot to death around 2 a.m. Friday on West Davis near Westmoreland.

Surveillance video from 7-Eleven captured “a disturbance” between two men, one of whom was driving a dark Chevy Tahoe, according to the Dallas Police Department.

The man driving the Tahoe shot the other guy and drove away. The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Around 4:20 p.m. that day, police pulled over a dark Chevy Tahoe in the same area and arrested the driver.

Miguel Camacho-Pineda, 40, admitted to shooting the victim, according to police. He was charged with murder, and his bond was set at $250,000.
