Thieves steal wheelchair ramp

Thieves stole a man’s wheelchair ramp from in front of his home Saturday.

Chris Warnick, who started using a wheelchair in January, says the ramp was taken in broad daylight from his home on Falls Drive.

“I’d like to think they stole it because they needed it more than I do,” Warnick told KXAS.

Neighbors already have stepped in to help replace the ramp, and a new one is being delivered this week, the TV station reports.
